Attorney Lawrence U.L. Chandler specializes in Personal Injury, Wrongful Death Litigation, Products Liability and Medical and Legal Malpractice. He frequently travels to Tallahassee when the legislature is in session to assist in the shaping of various bills which affect the practice of law and the consumers of Florida. Having completed a record number of civil jury trials in excess of 413, Mr. Chandler has argued and won numerous multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. As a result, he was invited to join the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Admitted to practice before the Florida Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts of Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the North Carolina Supreme Court, the U.S. Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. Mr. Chandler is one of the first attorneys in the country to be Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. As such, he was subsequently selected as a Preeminent Lawyer of America by Martindale-Hubbell, the only nationally recognized attorney ranking service, which lists Mr. Chandler as an AV Rated attorney, the highest ranking. In addition to membership in most of the national bar and trial lawyer associations nationwide, Mr. Chandler was an early member of the American Judicature Society, The Florida Justice Association and the Palm Beach Country Justice Association.

Prior to joining Ellis, Ged & Bodden P.A., Mr. Chandler spent a year as an assistant State Attorney in North Carolina before relocating to Florida. Upon arriving in West Palm Beach in 1974, he founded The Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers Association in 1986, in which he also served as President until 1996. Mr. Chandler has traveled across the country and abroad speaking to trial attorney groups and has published many papers, produced videos and audio tapes on trial litigation and techniques. He retains his membership in the North Carolina Bar and is a lifetime member of the North Carolina Trial Lawyers Association.

In his spare time, he serves the community in various capacities including foundation of the Albemarle Humane Society and The Boynton Beach Civic Organization. He has served repeatedly as adjunct Professor of Law, English and Sociology. Mr. Chandler has assisted the profession and young attorneys by serving as the Chief Judge of the National Moot Court finals.

He continues to speak frequently around the country on various trial issues such as Bad Faith, Discovery Techniques and Cross Examination of Expert Witnesses. He resides in Boca Raton, Florida.
